We spent a weekend in Mulhouse trying to figure out how to make a rebuttal as viral as a fake. Three days later, we had the protocol.

Original concept, vision, strategy.
LinkedInFrench entrepreneur since 2005, based in Alsace. Founder of the growth marketing agency Annei (Cernay, since 2009), specialized in technical infrastructure, AI automation, and digital strategy. Twenty years of entrepreneurship behind him, across multiple ventures.
Disinformation has been a personal concern for over fifteen years. Confronted across agency clients to the daily realities of digital reputation and image manipulation, he reflected for years on why existing tools fail: AI detection runs an unwinnable race, C2PA covers technical provenance without binding identity, watermarks address only a subset.
The concept of the protocol crystallizes during 2025: bind a verified human identity to a digital content via a cryptographic signature, record it on a public blockchain, allow refutation after the fact. He pitches the idea at the Techstars Startup Weekend Mulhouse in March 2026. A team forms during the weekend, builds the project together, and wins the 3rd jury prize. The team continues to carry Alethea forward as an open protocol beyond the weekend.
